Nursing
Our highly skilled nurses are available 24/7 throughout your stay, ensuring expert care at all times. They are supported by a dedicated team of care assistants who will attend to your personal needs, accompany you on outings, and do everything possible to make your break the best it can be.
We are registered with the Care Inspectorate and were awarded the highest score possible (6 - excellent) in four categories and the next highest (5 – very good) in a fifth category following an unannounced inspection by the Care Inspectorate in January 2020. (read the full report here). We undergo rigorous regular inspections for your added peace of mind and security.
Physiotherapy
While you're here, Louise will help create a programme that’s just right for you. This personalised support, along with assessments and referrals to local healthcare professionals, is a unique service in Scotland—ensuring you get the best care, tailored to your need.
The team can give you invaluable advice on exercise, transfers, wheelchairs, posture and positioning. Our group exercise classes are a fun way to try out gentle routines.
Our therapy room has a wide range of specialist equipment to support different abilities, including standing frames, a VibroGym, and Motomed exercise bikes – which we also have available throughout the house. In addition, our pressure mapping system can help highlight potential pressure issues and avoid hospital visits.
Occupational Therapy
Katie can show you the latest independent living equipment to help you to live more independently when you return home. She also offers baking sessions in our adapted kitchen, using specialised tools to give you more confidence and independence. With her experience in anxiety and sleep management, Katie is here to support your overall wellbeing.
