Tailored to you

From the point you book a break at Leuchie, we’ll start to put together a personal care plan for you. We’ll ask you to provide information about your condition, medication and care needs. This will help make sure Leuchie is right for you and, if so, means we can start putting in place the care package you need.

One of our nursing team will phone you before your break to talk in more detail about your needs so that your care plan is ready when you arrive.

I received more help from Leuchie’s OT than I’ve had in years. It has made such a difference to my mental and physical health.

Provided by healthcare professionals

We are the only respite place in the UK to combine specialist nursing, physio and occupational therapy with healthcare technology. We proactively improve health, re-enable independence and reduce the loneliness endured by people with a neurological condition and the loved ones who care for them, while providing families with a respite break.

Technology enabled care

We offer 1-2-1 digital skills sessions and assistive technology workshops for guests. We have integrated SMART technology into all of our bedrooms and created a SMART flat comprising a kitchen, living area, bedroom and ensuite bathroom which will allow you to test and trial available technologies and products for yourselves.
